The position that I hold within the Wheal Jane Group requires that I gain knowledge and understanding of the Group and all aspects of the work we carry out. I am charged with liaising with our main partners in particular our close working relationship with the Coal Authority and Veolia, who look after and run the Largest Mine Water Treatments Plant in the UK which is on the site here at Wheal Jane. We work closely with the Environment Agency and Cornwall Council to endeavour to returned the site back to nature as best we can, as well as creating much needed employment within Cornwall by means of developing our different Departments and skill sets within our Group structure.Specialties: Transforming the old Tin Mining Site at Wheal Jane into a Green Energy Park as well as reintroducing a natural habitat to an otherwise derelict mine site for the betterment of the Cornish people and Heritage. During the early part of this month we recieved officially from Cornwall Council that our proposed developments at the Wheal Jane Site had been adopted within the County Planning Strategy, this is a major forward step for the Wheal Jane Group as well as Brownfield Investments.
