Mark worked within the Projects Group of HSH to assess, improve and implement the necessary governance systems and processes to facilitate the successful delivery of concurrent hotel development projects in Yangon (on-hold), Istanbul and London. Mark advised both internally and externally on project management frameworks; post-construction BIM opportunities; risk management and mitigation; programme management and forecasting; cost management, assessment, reporting and budget forecasting; procurement and approval protocols.The Hong Kong Bankers Club is managed by Peninsula Clubs and Consultancy Services Limited and is dedicated to providing unparalleled service to members in catering to their exclusive business, social and private dining requirements. The Club relocated to its stunningly appointed new home at Nexxus Building in Central in early 2021. Mark was Project Director responsible for managing the consultant team and contractors in the delivery of this beautifully detailed, luxury hospitality venue.

Mark was Project Director responsible for delivery of the full upgrade of this Hong Kong tourism icon. Managing multiple delivery streams in Hong Kong and Europe, to provide a much-needed capacity upgrade of the funicular railway, tramcars, haulage equipment, control systems and stations. Mark managed multiple stakeholders across government, geographic and functional sectors including District Councils and LegCo, and he lead the multidisciplinary design teams to coordinate and integrate these unique building works with legacy land issues, state-of-the-art funicular systems and a bespoke design for the new Peak Tram, all of which required extensive government consultation and approvals.The Peak Tram has proudly served Hong Kong for over 130 years. It was Hong Kong’s most visited attraction, and pre-COVID patronage continued to grow every year. High demand for the Peak Tram led to long queues, with waiting times reaching two hours during peak season. The upgrade project has transformed the Peak Tram into a more exciting and comfortable experience for Peak Tram visitors, providing a better passenger experience, with increased tram capacity, an over-70% reduction in wait times at the Termini, and a comfortable new indoor waiting area at the Lower Terminus with bespoke physical and AV experiences.http://www.thepeak.com.hk/en/5_5_1.asp
