Reporting to the Head of Graphics and Knowledge, I providing graphic design support to the 60+ members of the work winning department:Designing proposal documents for successful printed and electronic bid submissions to a wide range of high profile clients, for contracts ranging from hundreds of thousands to hundreds of millions of pounds.Liaising with team members of all levels (Bid Coordinator up to Managing Director) to produce high quality diagrams, charts and images in a uniform style for each proposal.Producing supporting material such as boards, brochures, infographics and app layouts to enhance proposals and client presentations.Creating engaging PowerPoint presentations.Managing the use of the Carillion brand to enable the production of bespoke documents that still conform to brand guidelines set by corporate communications.Providing design & communication materials for mobilisation of new contracts and day to day running of live contracts, including welcome packs, information booklets, posters, menus etc.Assisting the Head of Proposals in producing industry award submissions, the annual strategy brochure and supporting materials for the annual work winning training days.Assisted as required with other bid tasks, i.e. proof reading, re-writing, and collating printed documents – ready to “muck in” so the bid gets out on time.Populating a Sharepoint site with examples of common charts and diagrams as well as a section on frequently asked questions relating to using Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.Liaising with the Corporate Communication team to keep up to date with latest developments regarding the corporate brand. Applying the corporate brand paying particular attention to use of company logo etc.
