• Part of a software team (6-8 people) in a large group (~200 people) that maintained and improved a large body of C++ code (+100k lines) that operated a variety of cell phone infrastructure equipment.• Participated in design, coding, review, integration and test of new features using OOA/OOD. Worked with other teams to integrate features and bug fixes into the system.• Took on a large solo effort to improve operation and maintainability of fault-handling software for a critical traffic-handling component (FEP, or Front-end Processor). Stayed at this job for an extra month to finish this project.

Bought by General Dynamics• Developed embedded software in Ada, C, and assembly for use in multi-processor (68K, 8051) classified projects. Held a "secret" security clearance during this time.• Designed, coded, tested and documented encryption and validation software for communicating embedded processors. Used key management protocols, OOA/OOD techniques.• Wrote and tested low-level interfaces for multi-chip module (MCM).
