In this role, I lead and implement all social media marketing efforts for the Chicago Soul Jazz Collective and all associated events. This includes graphic design, critical attention to detail, strategy curation, campaign management, and collaborating with high-profile local artists.

In this role, I assist Marques Carroll, acclaimed and GRAMMY ® considered trumpeter, composer, and producer, with maintaining and establishing his brand across all digital platforms. This role involves the creation and implementation of digital social strategy, campaign management, newsletter management, daily tasks in content curation, copy drafting, digital platform editing (i.e. Squarespace), collaboration with high-profile local artists and any other supportive tasks assigned directly by Marques Carroll.

In this role, I lead trumpet sections of varying proficiency levels through performance practice while providing high-level music education. This includes conducting, rehearsing, and providing individual and group feedback whilst managing a relaxed and focused musical atmosphere.

In this role, I assist Kris Johnson, acclaimed trumpeter, arranger, and composer, with social media strategy and execution. This includes clear communication, fast-paced content curation, and media scheduling via online platforms such as Buffer, Facebook, and Instagram.

I am a sole proprietor performing within varied genres and providing private music education in the Chicago metropolitan area. Experience in leading, conducting, and coaching ensembles, sections, and individuals. Experience in lecturing at the high school level.

In this role, I virtually assisted classical guitarist, podcaster, and entrepreneur Ciyadh Wells based in Austin, Texas with various weekly tasks as assigned. These tasks included social media scheduling, blog scheduling, Squarespace maintenance, newsletter formatting and scheduling, and research.

In this role, I welcomed, instructed, and oversaw the safety of customers on land and water as I guided them, in kayaks, through narrated and unnarrated tours of Chicago historical architecture on the Chicago River. A highly sought-after activity in summer 2020, Kayak Chicago Inc. experienced unprecedented customer volume. Consequently, I multi-tasked interacting with customers, supporting colleagues, and maintaining customer land-to-water efficiency. I presented high-quality education within a high-pressure environment to ensure customers received a valuable, fun, and safe experience on land and water.

In this role, I assist the General Manager as needed with tasks such as data entry, social media scheduling, and written content creation within social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Additionally, I participate in and contribute to staff meetings and marketing strategy brainstorm sessions.

In this role, I represented the DePaul School of Music through friendly interaction with patrons, selling event tickets, and assisting the Box Office Manager with tasks as assigned. These tasks included administrative and clerical duties, ticket sales within Spektrix, customer service, and data management via Microsoft Word Suite and Google Docs. Additional duties included scheduling via ASIMUT, phone management, facilitating communication between faculty and staff, and running/printing reports.

In this role, I represented the DePaul School of Music by welcoming and ushering incoming patrons to concert hall seats. I also utilized university equipment such as ticket scanners and iPads.

In this role, I cultivated and maintained mentor and mentee relationships appropriately through casual small gatherings, individual coaching, and email.

In this role, I worked in a dynamic business environment assisting the Vice President of Allied Global Marketing and Senior Tour Marketing and Press Director in Chicago and New York. I exercised my passion for marketing and the music industry through work on national Broadway tour press, advertising, and marketing administration in relation to current, upcoming, and closed national Broadway tours such as Rent, White Christmas, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, and Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations. Experiences in support of these national tours included the creation of national Broadway tour marketing guides, participating in and contributing to marketing strategy brainstorm sessions, playbill drafting, file data management, online research, document proofreading/editing, and other daily supportive administrative projects producing high-quality work.

In this role, I worked directly with the Fifth House Ensemble Marketing Director. I gained experience in collaborative remote work as well as online platform editing and creating (e.g., blogs). I worked within tools including MailChimp, Asana, and WordPress. Additional tasks included editing websites, social media management (primarily Facebook), creating press releases, drafting various forms of copy, and honing skills to collaborate effectively with staff based in Nashville, Tennessee via remote technology.

In this role, I led, facilitated dialogue, and presented to incoming DePaul University students and their guardians. I led, co-led, and presented to groups of up to 40 diverse students, and their guardians, confidently and competently. I also presented to groups of up to 500 diverse individuals. I led campus tours, staff and faculty lectures, and group activities. Within this role I exercised a creative self-starting and proactive problem-solving style of leadership as I led and or changed plans to accommodate special circumstances. I also exercised outstanding sociability among colleagues, orientation students, and guardians within a very hectic atmosphere as I assisted the Associate Director of New Student and Family Engagement with any task as assigned.
