I am a very well connected channel development manager in the EMEA IT Channel.I am someone who thrives on interaction with people at all levels in all environments and has the ability to manage people or work as part of a team although also very capable of being self driven to achieve success.Over 30 years I have gathered a broad range of connections throughout the IT Channel and have had a number of personal achievements over many years working for Blue Chip companies such as NatWest, IBM and Hitachi Data Systems.In my current position at Opengear, I am responsible for the recruitment and enablement of both Distribution and Channel Partners across the region and to build a solid channel that will support the company for many years to come. Since joining Opengear in January 2020 I have worked with my colleagues to create a Distribution Channel and have personally recruited Ingram Micro in the UK, Spain and more recently, Germany with many other countries now pending. Other notable achieements include proudly managing Kelway (now CDW UK Ltd) for Hitachi Data Systems and in that time developing the business significantly.
