Elected to Partnership of Deloitte & Touche (Deloitte Consulting) in 1996.Established consulting practice focused on energy and utility organizations. Developed client relationships resulting in services of $3.1 million in FY1997, $5.5 million in FY1998, and $10.1 million in FY1999 $10.5 million in FY2000, $12.9 million in FY2001. Overall sales and service delivery exceeded $40 million. Developed client relationships and led transformation programs for clients facing diverse deregulation challenges. Clients include National Grid (Keyspan), Constellation, AEP, DPL, CVPS, Florida Power and Light, Xcel Energy, PG&E, and Dominion.Services included:• Operations Restructuring – Advisor for delivery of operational changes resulting in large cost savings and process improvements. Implementation of CIS, OMS, EMS and SCADA solutions in conjunction with larger transformation programs. • Corporate Governance – Advisor for restructuring of roles for client executives and staff, and renegotiation of bargaining unit (union) responsibilities. • Information Technology – Advisor for transition to new technology (PeopleSoft, SAP and ORACLE) which thereby improving operations. Conducted strategic review of emerging technologies (mobility, smartgrid) to support investment decisions across multiple clients. • Merger integration – Advisor for joint client-consultant teams charged with development and execution of merger plans. Provided leadership for key Deloitte programs:• Implemented Deloitte's Career Consulting Continuum (200 consultants). • Established career advisory for staff consultants (career progression pathways). • Provided mentoring for Deloitte's Business Analyst Program (for New England Offices).• Recruited top MBA's at Harvard, MIT, Tuck, and Michigan. After completion of two successful independent business ventures (2001 – 2006), was recruited to re-join Deloitte as a Partner in 2007.
