About Mark Jones

As an experienced designer with many years within the creative, online and mobile entertainment industries I have worked my way up designing the UI, graphical and animated content required across various platforms - starting from designing for the small monochrome screened handsets of the late 1990's through to the more powerful devices and operating systems of today. Having done so, I have a wealth of knowledge that could only have been gained by the hands-on experience of designing for these formats as they progressed and evolved. Just as the mobile/online platforms progressed and evolved, so did my career, incorporating the design of complex UI and UX media platforms into my portfolio of skills. Applications I have previously designed graphical content and UI/UX for, on the online; Java/j2me; blackberry; Smartphone and iOS platforms, include (but not limited to) -• Online/Cloud based Film/Media industry Content Management Systems• Poker• Slots• Blackjack• Roulette• Hi-Lo• Arcade (varying genres) ...and I have experience of/exposure to a range of software and systems, including (but not limited to) - • Adobe Photoshop• Adobe Illustrator• Adobe Indesign• Adobe Premiere• Adobe CS3 To CC suites• Avid• 3ds Max• Microsoft Office ( Word, Outlook, Excel etc)Aside from working to mobile and web screen formats, I also produce work of an illustrative, concept and graphic/product design nature on an ad hoc basis.
