Kauai-based Real Estate Development Executive with 22 years of experience with advance proficiency in leadership, design, development, construction, project management, finance, strategic planning, risk management, entitlements, community engagement, property management, acquisition due diligence, brand creation, sales and marketing.After graduating from University of Denver with a BSBA in Real Estate and Construction Management in 2002, Mark began his career with Toll Brothers. At the market downturn in 2008, Mark left Toll and began leading multiple, high-end, multi-million dollar, commercial and custom home projects in Denver and the resort markets of Vail, Aspen, and Breckenridge. His most notable projects were Four Seasons Vail and a $40 million dollar private estate in Denver.In 2014, Mark earned an Executive MBA degree at the University of Colorado, then moved to Hawaii to develop real estate in paradise for Kukui‘ula Development Company. Mark joined East West Partners in 2017 and helped lead projects on Kauai’s north shore including the $250 million dollar 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. Most recently with East West, Mark (working remotely) led the design creation process for a new landscape hotel concept near Zion National Park in Utah. In March 2024 Mark left East West Partners to join Timbers Company on Kauai. Mark serves on the board for Kauai Habitat for Humanity and is a member of the Urban Land Institute. He enjoys the island life with his wife Anne and their precious daughter Lily.
