I was initially hired to support Juniper's ASIC Design group (Semiconductors) but my responsibilities have constantly expanded to include roles in Manufacturing, Outsourcing, Software and Hardware Design and Testing, Hardware Engineering, Cybersecurity, and much more, including individual contributors and managers up to the level of Senior Director. Through collective sourcing efforts I have exposure to other areas such as C-level executives, Tax, Finance, Quality, Compliance, Commodity and Supply Chain Management, and more.

After more than 15 years as an Engineer in Semiconductors I found an enjoyable second career in Technical Recruiting. Primus Staffing Solutions, Inc. is my own consulting / freelancing company. I have been working on a contingency basis in technology industries such as Electronic Hardware, Software, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Information Technology, and more, and recently I started working onsite and offsite contracts to gain more market exposure.Technical Sourcing requires detailed knowledge of technology, its terms and its inner workings, which are very essential to being able to locate the people with the right skills for each position. That is a natural environment for me because of my technical background. I like networking in the industry, getting to know people and their functions and how things are done at different companies.I am a high power headhunter. I am comfortable with just about any part of full cycle recruiting, but my favorite area is technical sourcing. I believe that those skills are an art and they build over time, as does my many thousand-strong trove of resumes. If a position is related to technology, I will research it, find the likely places where the candidates are, and I will attract their attention.Primus's standard practice is to submit 3-5 very well qualified and pre-screened candidates per position within 2 weeks. More than two thirds of submissions advance into direct discussions with clients.
