Mark Lloyd worked on the sales floor, and then managed the family retail business at Ala Moana Center, Oahu Hawaii during college days at University of Hawaii. The business grew for 15 years under his management when Mark started a related wholesale business out of the same office. After several years building brands and market share for manufactures-to-retailers on 100% commission basis, he was contacted and hired to consult restaurants and Hotels in beverage sales, for Johnson Bros. of Hawaii, and then recruited to Chambers & Chambers Wine Merchants after that. Building new brands and winning incentive contests for Red Bull and Winebow amongst others. Mark was Raised in the "education is sales" mindset. He hit goals and won incentive sales contests: allowing him to visit Italy, Napa /Sonoma, and other regions adding to wine knowledge and business experience.Calling on more than 100 businesses monthly he witnessed restaurants successes and failures. This hospitality experience proved valuable when Mark took the reigns running the Open Table Sales office - Hawaii. Open Table previously spent over eight years to build the existing 87 clients in the state of Hawaii; when Mark took over the number grew to 214 in the next three years. Monthly diner revenues for Open Table/ Hawaii went from $30,000 per month in 2010 to over $93,000 per month. And restaurant revenues grew form $17,313 per month to over $46,000 per month in 2014.The technology background from Open Table brought the new challenge of travel technology and the San Francisco based Peek Travel.
