With over 2 years of experience as a Manager of Behavioral Research at Ally, I collaborate with internal business partners to understand their goals, uncover knowledge gaps, and identify opportunities where consumer research can provide helpful insights for the business. I apply a variety of methods and tools, particularly qualitative research, such as interviews, diary studies, and ethnography, to analyze data and uncover insights that inform and support human-centered design innovation processes at the concept and product testing studio.As an applied behavioral scientist with a M.A. in Social Science from the University of Chicago, my purpose is to make the world of money better for people by humanizing the lived experience behind the numbers. I integrate two perspectives: the empathetic understanding of individual experiences and the recognition of the social dimensions of money. I believe that money cannot be separated from meaning or fulfillment, and that engaging with it can be a source of growth, connection, and purpose. The best organizations balance the human side of money as a responsibility to their customers with their commercial responsibilities to their stakeholders.
