He draws well upon examples from his own personal experience and that of his wider interactions in his recent role as a trainer/facilitator/coach etc. to good effect. Mark can be quite direct and consistently provides feedback in the moment and requests feedback on our sessions with a view to re-contracting. I find my coaching sessions with Mark to be inspiring and motivating. He asks pointed questions which challenge my thinking and push my boundaries. Whilst in theory the concepts we have discussed are really simple, putting them into practice is where the greatest challenge lies. Mark has encouraged me to focus on one or two specific objectives, chunking them down into simple, measurable steps, which has enabled me to make significant progress in areas that had previously been onerous and challenging to me. During our sessions, there have been a number of “lightbulb” moments for me, relating to my professional development. It was the probing and insightful questioning from Mark that brought about these revelations. I am very grateful for the opportunity to take a helicopter view of my career and Mark has been instrumental in my progress and development.
