Oversees 18 AF operational planning, assessing, exercising and monitoring of DoD global air mobility missions tasking 34,000 active duty airmen and approximately 1,100 active and reserve airlift/air refueling aircraft around the world. Applies Air Force military aviator expertise to perform a broad range of complex qualitative and quantitative analyses of programs, policies and issues which have a major impact on the development of long-range war, mobilization, and contingency plans in support of the U.S. Transportation Command.

Responsible for organization and training of personnel at headquarters and 19 wings/groups through out command. Trained, mentored and supervised greenbelts, recommended blackbelt certification to headquarters Air Force. Facilitated major improvement events and sponsored improvement projects. Developed command strategy and metrics.

Command focal point for the transformation of the Operational Support Airlift (OSA) and Very Important Person Special Air Mission (VIPSAM) enterprise. Responsible for policy development, analysis of airlift requirements, airlift requirements decision briefs, and co-lead for joint OSA and VIPSAM working groups. Responsible for multi-modal deployment and distribution of materiel for combat and crisis operations. Supervised transportation assessments for Europe, Africa and Middle East. Maintained personal readiness and technical qualifications to perform worldwide mobility and logistics exercises and contingencies.

Leader responsible for 113-person organization with $1.4M budget, 12 Learjets, 2 Gulfstream IV and 1 C-9 performing VIP airlift and aeromedical evacuations throughout Europe, Africa and in support of combat operations in Southwest Asia.
