-Advances process, performance, and technology enhancements to achieve continuous improvement goals within the Finance/Accounting organization.-Establishes and implements Accounting project framework and oversight.-Utilizes process mining techniques to analyze, visualize, and optimize existing workflows and business processes.-Works with customers and other functional experts to determine critical areas where improvement projects are needed.-Leads change management efforts including communication, documentation, and training required to execute improvement projects.-Partners with internal and external stakeholders to keep up with emerging technologies and shares them with customers to identify areas of application.-Handles Accounting communications and OxyNet portal management.-Oversee the program management and governance of process improvement opportunities across Finance/Accounting organization.

-Monthly consolidation of Delaware Basin Business Unit-Reviewing and posting monthly journal entries-Preparing and reviewing monthly close schedules-Ensuring monthly close deadlines are met-Reviewing & Presenting financial statements-Assisting with SAP implementation-Working closely with other departments in recording and analyzing financial data-Assisting with internal and external audit requests, as well as other special projects-Supervise a team of Financial Analysts

· Assist in managing capital programs by coordinating preparation of internal and supplemental AFEs, cost tracking, variance analysis, accruals and facilitate the project closing process· Assist in the annual planning cycle including Business Plan, Annual Targets, and Performance Management Reports· Calculate monthly capital and operating expense accruals for Asset Teams· Calculate monthly production and revenue accruals (oil, gas and NGL) for Asset Teams· Analyze actual financial results and explain variances from outlook and budget and prepare monthly reports and outlook estimates· Responsible for monthly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, cost driver reports, reconciliations, and other required reporting
