The AAA is the peak organisation for Australia’s motoring clubs and their 8 million members. The association’s constituent clubs are the NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RAC, RACT and the AANT. The AAA regularly commissions research and develops in-depth analysis of issues affecting transport systems including affordability, road safety and vehicle emissions. The AAA has developed a library of resources which it uses to inform its advocacy position and frequently articulates its views to parliamentary inquiries, the media and members of parliament. The association takes an active role in assisting international travelers with their motoring needs by issuing customs documents for the temporary admission of vehicles to Australia. The AAA also issues International Driving Permits, allowing Australian motorists to drive in countries that are signatories to the United Nations 1949 Convention on Road Traffic. The state-based motoring clubs issue the permits as sales agents to the AAA, to ensure permits are widely accessible around Australia.The AAA is a member of the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and it also supports its constituent clubs’ participation in the Global Mobility Alliance (GMA).The AAA is also a leading advocate for the United Nations’ Decade of Action for Road Safety: 2011-2020.

The company was established in 2002 as a medium for the delivery of key operational services and initiatives on behalf of the Clubs,best managed on a national commercial basis.It is predominantly focused on business-to-business automotive, data warehousing/analytics and travel & tourism services. AMS is the largest Australian provider of wholesale roadside assistance, a data management service provider in both the motoring and loyalty markets and a provider of procurement services, increasing Clubs presence in the online space.

Governments, industry, media and the general community consider RACQ 'a voice' on behalf of our members on issues that matter to them. RACQ also plays a vital role in helping Queensland communities through several initiatives including the sponsorship of three rescue helicopter services and the RACQ Foundation.Key Achievements:Member of the executive leadership team which saw a 773% increase in total revenue, 672% increase in gross assets, 192% increase in net assets, and 56% increase in total members.Developed and implemented a fundamental revision of the Group’s corporate strategy, responding to material pending disruption of core operations, and implementing a group wide transformation office to guide and execute the strategy.Conceived and executed the Group’s strategy to reacquire and integrate its Insurance JV, and the merger, acquisition and integration of a new Retail Banking proposition.Lead the turn-around of the Group’s leisure and lifestyle businesses, doubling revenues and tripling profits over a 2½ year period, rebuilding the management team, and restructuring and repositioning the business, changing the operational systems and processes, and refreshing the operational culture.

With approximately 720 students across years 7-12, Hillbrook is one of the highest performing independent schools in the state, with a balanced approach across academics, sports and the arts.

Sitting on the board of one of SEQ’s most significant benevolent organisations, I have provided governance across range of sectors and industries, including the operation of a number of senior and junior schools, the operation of an inner-city hotel, the operation of a large number of aquatic and recreation centers, the development and operation of a number of affordable housing facilities, the provision of free meals to disadvantaged school students and the homeless, and the operation of Australia’s largest youth parliament program.
