After a 12-Week Ski instructor program at Verbier resort in Val de Bagnes, I obtained my BASI level 2 ski instructors license. During the program we improved our alpine skiing technique and learned how to properly convey information to new learners. We practiced planning lessons, tailoring our lessons to our clients, and teaching our peers how to improve their skiing. We also completed avalanche safety and CPR courses. During the course I also partook in some French classes in the village.

Completed an adventure and leadership course in Donegal, Ireland. Living in Bundoran, Ireland, this was my first foray into both leadership and cross cultural communication. Throughout the course we completed over 70 hours of volunteering with organizations that included Mulroy Meadow, a farm focused on regenerative agriculture, and the Hungry Horse Outside, an equine rescue effort. We also partook in numerous leadership workshops and team building exercises. In our free time, we traveled to various towns in Ireland, learning much about their history, most notably, Cork, Dublin, and Belfast.
