I am an Undergraduate Student at Rutgers University, majoring in Psychology. My passion for psychology has grown immensely over the years as I have had a greater chance of gaining knowledge and insight within the field of psychology and learning how imperative one’s mental health is to their life. I am steering towards the Clinical Psychology route, aiming to pursue a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. I have dealt with psychological struggles and without the support that I received, I know I wouldn’t be where I am today. I know with my zeal and determination, I will be very successful in this field.I come from an Egyptian family, but I was originally born and raised in Greece. Growing up in Greece for the first 6 years of my life helped me experience a lot of diversity. This helped me learn to love and appreciate the cultural differences we all exhibit as we are all unique in our own ways and culture is a big part of that.
