Etimad Strategic Security Solutions (ESSS) are part of Etimad Holding, a local defence technology company with more than 1000 full-time staff, delivering public safety and national security solutions to protect the UAE's critical assets, borders and its people. Within the newly-formed organisation, I was responsible for the establishment and early stage management of the Program Management Office. This included the development and delivery of an organisational structure, business processes, IT systems and administrative functions to achieve an initial and then final operating capability. It involved the recruitment, onboarding, management and development of more than 80 project managers, engineers and analysts to support the delivery of ESSS' security infrastructure solutions.
