Delphinus Engineering, Incorporated is a company that performs ship and submarine repair and alterations. As Director, Submarine Programs I am responsible for the planning, execution and testing of all submarine-based work, to include SUBSAFE and DSS-SOC. Delphinus is a Designated Overhaul Point (DOP) in support of the Corporate Component Repair Program (CCRP), a program designed to provide submarine repair facilities with ready for issue off the shelf SUBSAFE, Level 1 and non-level valves in order to shorten turnaround time in major availabilities.

Lead a staff of eleven (including three managers). Educated, motivated, and developed ROTC college students for post-graduate, active-duty management positions. Taught four college level leadership courses for 96 students. Provided young adult career mentorship and hard/soft skill training in personnel management, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Served as Notre Dame and Navy community liaison on the Academic Council and the Committee on Scholarship, Admissions and Financial Aid, developing new and strengthening existing relationships through strategic marketing and networking, high visibility outreach engagements and public speaking events.

Lead 500+ active duty and civilian personnel (including six managers) in all aspects of planning, scheduling, executing, prioritizing, and assessing 20+ complex maintenance projects safely ensuring highest standards of quality assurance and technical performance measurement. Increased engineering readiness and reliability of active-duty submarines operating outside of US waters. Programmed and executed an annual budget of $500M+.

Commissioning senior officer in command of a newly constructed, $2.5B nuclear fast attack submarine. Led crew of 130+ personnel (including six managers), executing all safety, maintenance, security, training, personnel management, and operational employment. Transitioned the new submarine from the construction shipyard to the operational fleet.
