The Mpls Downtown Council works to preserve and enhance a vital and attractive downtown for the people who invest, work, shop, visit and live in Minneapolis. Founded in 1955 and one of the oldest central business district associations in the nation, the Mpls Downtown Council produces many cherished Minneapolis events including the Aquatennial and Holidazzle Parade.Responsibilities include project management for event development, planning and permitting process. Also handle all aspects of activation for sponsorship packages. Event operations management responsibilities include event personnel, vendor services, and volunteer teams. Establish and manage overall event operations budgets.

Partner with NFL Events to provide strategic planning, operations management, and execution of various aspect of these high-profile events including NFL Super Bowl, NFL Pro Bowl, NFL Draft and Minnesota Vikings events.

Hired by Twin City’s leading charter transportation company to operationalize/lead the execution of a new $4.0MM Metropolitan Transportation Commission service contract, Key duties included: Program/project quality control, Sales presentation/document development, Process development/implementation, Personnel management, Resource planning, Issue resolutionLorenz Bus Service serves the Upper Midwest region with the largest charter bus company in Minnesota. Lorenz also provides transportation management planning for special events, corporate shuttles and large or small conventions with on-site event management. Lorenz is also the area's largest private provider of transit buses and service.

Managed Community Teen Center facility, overseeing staff and operations budget, providing recreational, educational and leadership opportunities for over 1,500 teens in the Scarsdale area

Contracted to co-produce 12 episodes of “Kid Science - Reef Detectives” a live, educational television series distributed both on the local and national level; programming objective included both education and awareness of conservation issues. Established partnership with University of Hawaii faculty to develop Marine and Environmental Science curriculum utilized in schools nationally.

Lead 150 person team managing daily operations, product presentation and quality control for entertainment venue attracting 400,000+ visitors annually. Managed $12MM operating budget and negotiated vendor contracts.
