A dynamic and results-driven leader with over two decades of experience in international development, water, climate change/finance, and agricultural resilience. With a proven track record in spearheading large-scale water, agriculture, and climate adaptation projects across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, I bring a wealth of expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and driving impactful solutions in complex environments. In my recent roles, I led the Supporting Pastoralism and Agriculture in Recurrent and Protracted Crises (SPARC) research consortium, delivering critical insights into sustainable agriculture and livelihoods from 2020 to 2023. I also played a leadership role at Cowater International as VP for Water, Climate and Environment (2016-2020), where I directed high-impact projects focused on climate resilience, resource management, and rural development. My strategic oversight ensured that programs not only met their targets but also created long-lasting benefits for communities. Passionate about driving meaningful change, I am currently focused on advancing climate risk insurance, sustainable agriculture, and gender-sensitive adaptation projects. I am also deeply engaged in the climate finance landscape, with a particular focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, where I have supported governments in developing climate finance strategies and securing vital funding for adaptation and mitigation initiatives. My goal is to foster innovative partnerships and develop policies that not only address climate risks but also empower the most vulnerable populations.
