Working at GSS for over 25 years I have worked on a countless variety of computer issues, keeping up with the changes in Technology and with the client’s Technology needs. With ADP I worked with car dealers servicing and installing ADP Dealer Service's Dealership Management Systems. I would repair mini systems, communication equipment, terminals and printers. I also installed new systems from wiring the Dealerships to setting up communication rooms, setting up servers, workstations and printers.I started in Boston area and transferred to Orlando. My service area was local and up to hundreds of miles away. ADP sent me to training in Dallas many times for specialized training.After working in a factory environment for 8 years, I enjoyed working in the field traveling and meeting people. I also learned real life computer knowledge and skills.

When I started working at Data General, I worked manufacturing printed circuit boards. Silk screening on the solder mask on PC boards, I also performed manufacturing other tasks. I went to Technical school in the day and worked 2nd shift silk screening. When I completed my training I advanced working as a Computer Technician. In the years as a technician I assembled and tested CPU’s, Disk Drives, Platters, and Tape Drives, fixing to board level. After a few years at DG, I moved into board repair, calibration and testing. In board level I troubleshoot to the component level with analog and digital circuits. I also worked in system refurbishing testing and repair. All the positions were in a factory atmosphere. Data General was having layoffs and closings; I decided to move on to advance my carrier.
