(350 plus units) Based on a leading retailer distribution depot located in Goole. ( East Yorkshire ) Maintaining up to date records of cost, Stock Control, LOLER’s, service/repair records, KPI’s and material handling Fleet location within the site. Liaise and keeping the management up to date regarding material handling equipment within the depot.Carry out day to day running of the workshop. Before this position I was field service engineer for Jungheinrich, carrying out maintenance and repairs on a wide range of material handling equipment, on customer sites around the south east of England. ( London/Brighton area ) In the past 21 years I have learnt and picked up my skills from being in the following industries, Automotive, Heavy Plant, Agricultural, Tail lifts, and Mechanical Handling industries.In these industries I have been lucky enough to be sent away on in-house training courses sharpen and to keep up to date my skills. I have sound experience of Mechanical, Hydraulical, and Electrical work. I am able to MIG and ARC weld to a very high standard, manufacture any piece of bespoke equipment that would be requested to a high and safe standard. Service and maintain equipment to a very high and safe standard, also to be aware of be cost effective and time given for such projects. I am computer literate, I feel I have good people skills, and able to give good leadership thanks to my previous role of a "Site Supervisor".
