Executive General Manager Grid Delivery
CurrentReporting to the Chief Executive, leading the team responsible for the delivery of Transpower’s totex project and maintenance programs, ensuring that we deliver on our service measures for our customers. My team of up to 200 internal staff is accountable for the delivery of circa $340M capex and $110M opex expenditure per year. Key responsibilities• Managing the end to end capital build of grid assets, from investigation phase through to installation• Managing service delivery risk to our customers through effective and efficient delivery of maintenance programmes and the operational performance of service providers• Provide leadership and clear direction to ensure consistent, safe and efficient delivery across the Grid• Leading continuous improvement of the project delivery and maintenance disciplines• Delivering on grid service performance measures agreed with our Regulator• Accountability for the relationships with our Service Provider workforce (circa 2000) who work daily maintaining and building the Grid.• Leading development of field mobility application and development of drone technology use on the Grid
