This role was on an interim basis following a successful consulting assignment• As part of the Nobia UK Senior Management Team, established and developed the Supply Chain Planning Manager role in the UK, managing three separate planning teams within the business.• Successfully led a significant change programme to merge the three disparate planning teams to create a single supply chain planning function in the UK and established standardised processes and reporting.• Identified significant opportunities for stock reduction across the three business units including setting safety stocks statistically, introducing VMI and reducing minimum order quantities and lead times from suppliers.• Reduced slow moving and obsolete stocks by 30% in four months, increased retail channel customer service to over 99% and reduced stock days cover across the business by 10%.• Developed a collaborative framework for the planning teams to engage with suppliers with the aim of improving supply parameters; this delivered over £1m of stock reduction.• Developed and implemented S&OP across the UK Nobia business as part of their new European strategy.
