o Canadian divisional leader for product development and program design / negotiation.o Maintain senior underwriting authority for the division. Responsible for the review and ultimate authority decisions for complex and/or large limit accounts.o Responsible for the continuing mentorship, formal product and underwriting methodology training for junior and senior underwriters. o Manage portfolio of large cap companies that trade on Canadian or U.S. stock exchanges.o Maintain strong, strategic relationships with the divisional senior management at major brokerages throughout Canada. o Continued to perform all underwriting responsibilities as outlined below.

Conduct performance reviews, objective setting, recruitment/retention, professional development activities and all other standard management tasks. o Develop and present reports/forecasts for revenue, budget and KPIs in weekly/monthly executive team meetings. o Responsible for directing a national underwriting strategy to meet divisional objectives. Successful in significantly exceeding the division’s profitability objectives for fiscal 2012 and 2013. o Lead the development and launch of 4 new product offerings in the last 2 years. o Developed and implemented a variety of IT/workflow process improvement initiatives. Resulted in the division handling 20%+ additional workflow with no additional headcount. o Negotiated ACE Canada’s participation on the AON Private/NFP panel, which assisted in ACE achieving a 37% revenue growth rate in this portfolio sub segment in 2013.o Worked with actuarial, legal, claims, and executive management to develop effective divisional and portfolio management strategies, new product offerings and underwriting / marketing strategies.o Maintain strong, strategic relationships with the divisional senior management at major brokerages throughout Canada. o Continued to perform all underwriting responsibilities as outlined below.

o In-depth analysis of financial, organizational, managerial and corporate governance factors for private and publicly listed companies in all industry segments. o Responsible for renewal and new business generation. Met or exceeded all sales and KPI targets in 2009, 2010 and 2011. o Assisted in managing and mentoring a team of 5 underwriters. o Took a lead role in the product development and launch of 2 new Canadian policy forms and various policy endorsements. o Advanced knowledge in underwriting and coverage provided by D&O, Employment Practices Liability, Crime and Fiduciary insurance policies.o Maintained strong broker and divisional leader relationships throughout Canada.o Member of the ACE University committee (Canadian representative). The committee works directly with the Learning & Development board of directors to develop and execute a worldwide ACE University curriculum.

o Similar underwriting responsibilities as listed under ACE Canada.o Undertook the lead role in various projects. One such project was the development, negotiation and successful implementation of AIG Canada's only D&O broker/industry focused program that was forecasted and resulted in $1 million in profit per year.o Commenced employment as a D&O Underwriter. Promoted to the position of Senior D&O Underwriter during July 2008.

o Managed large dollar value ($2 Million +) credit lines to support the floor plan, lease line, and working capital/cash flow requirements for clients in the automotive, transportation and construction industries.o Responsible for business development, analyzing financial statements and approving credit applications.

o Completed research, credit and financial underwriting/modelling, and credit structuring advice for the credit approval of multi-million dollar transactions for clients in various industries.o Undertook a project to increase the number of customers that were set up on pre-approved lines of credit. Successful in increasing the total pre-approved Line of Credits in Atlantic Canada from $36 million in 2004 to $94 million in 2005. o Undertook a lead sales role on various transactions throughout the Atlantic Provinces.

o Worked with Account Managers to meet the debt financing needs of clients in the transportation, construction and mining industries. o Completed the credit underwriting and structuring for floor plan lines of credit. o Lead the relationship turnaround of an underperforming equipment dealer, which resulted in GE securing $12.4 million in volume in 2004 vs $409,000 in 2003.o Undertook the lead role in quality control projects. Results included a decrease in the average number of defective contracts and improved turn-around time for funding deals.
