Oversaw requirement design verification testing, as well as regression testing of new capabilities of a advanced surveillance and target acquisition radar. Responsible for DOORS based requirements tracing (reducing risk for future FAA audits), test planning, schedule and budget.

Selected as lead systems engineer for internal investment program to develop an Integrated System of Sensors demonstration platform used to provide visibility into new market.

Oversaw system regression testing, flight testing, analysis tool design, problem resolution, interfacing with software group to implement fixes, regression test design, data set design for classifier. Designed Google Earth based tool used to design ground vehicle track inhibit regions for a Ground Based Sense and Avoid system that greatly reduced false alarms allowing system to achieve its mission of a UAV flight without a chase plane (first one ever out there allowed by FAA). Investigated and discovered problem of false tracks tracking on radar, and collaborated with software engineers to implement a fix to the radar tracking algorithm that further reduced false alarms. Designed and formed data set used to train system classifier further reducing unwanted alarms and allowing mission success. Designed and supervised development of innovative Google Earth based radar data plotting tool which greatly enhanced data analysis and changed the way the company looked at data.

R&D work included researching, evaluating, and analyzing numerous satellite communications (SATCOM) and wireless communications systems and presenting results in reports and presentations.Automated the Space-Time Adaptive Processing (STAP) software as part of company’s successful Foliage Penetrating, Reconnaissance, Surveillance, Tracking, and Engagement Radar proposal effort for DARPA. Multimillion, multistage program still being worked today. Allowed algorithm to run unassisted for the 3-4 day simulation which decreased design time by a factor of 20. Led team to develop field calibration capability for a Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar system which allowed systems to be repaired and recalibrated in the field and greatly reduced critical down time; down time equals no mortar detection system equals lives in danger.Automated LCMR acceptance test report generation which reduced creation time by a factor of five.Implemented and administered a successful wireless local area network (LAN) demo for the NY State Emergency Management Office.
