Employed with Diageo for my 15 week work placement for college; I was retained until I returned to college. During my time I performed daily and weekly duties whilst also working numerous projects analysing data to determine efficiencies and seek improvement opportunities.• Responsible for compiling the weekly delivery volume KPI’s for 6 depots in the Republic of Ireland, utilising data from SAP and Excel reports from each depot. • Performed daily delivery compliance performance audits on Diageo’s 3PL provider. • Conducted a phone survey of 550 customers, utilising SAP Master-Data within the Leinster region detailing performance and efficiency levels and compiled the results into an Excel report.• Analysed the daily efficiency of loading crews with SAP and Excel to identify errors and staff committing them, produced a reporting tool to display and monitor these findings.• Redesigned and improved the delivery volume KPI Excel database and numerous other spreadsheets to improve their efficiency, ensure formulas worked correctly and make them more user-friendly.• Reproduced the past 3 years of KPI data using new KPI database, analysed these figures and produced a report highlighting the correct efficiency levels and trends. • Analysed delivery restrictions and keg volumes for Leinster in the last operating year to highlight trends and inefficiencies, through SAP, historical Excel reports and Customer Master-Data. This was utilised to reorganise the delivery schedules of customers to be more efficient and effective.• Created a new database system to specifically track and record the volume and severity of collection requests for empty kegs which has been implemented and allows KPI monitoring.
