I am a business, graphic art and photography professional with a broad based knowledge and expertise in a variety of disciplines. With over twenty years of professional art experience I have a strong conceptual skillset with the ability to translate ideas into reality. I am the publisher of foto:RE|VIEW magazine, dedicated to showcasing excellence in photography. I am the Founder and Artistic Director Foto:RE. As a resource for both practicing artists and individuals interested in learning about all aspects of photographic arts, Foto:RE is an assemblage of national and international photographers. We use a variety of approaches to support and connect photographers and foster an understanding and appreciation of photography through exhibitions, education, and programming.I am a co-founder of the award winning Flash | Contemporary Photography Here photo festival. 2015's inaugural event feature a talk by double Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Barbara Davidson of the LA Times. 2016 saw Senior TED Fellow Camille Seaman captivate the audience with her work in environmental photography. Magnum Photography member Larry Towell headlined in 2017. I led the curatorial team in selecting images for the open call portion of the events, and in selecting the 9 featured local photographers.I am also the curator of a large (50,000+) collection of photography by Stan Rosenthall, an urban and commercial photographer who worked in the heyday of the 1960's New York City ad scene.I founded and am a curator at curated. by The COVERT Collective.
