This involved a process of building a complete system from the ground up. Our SMS is fully based on the ICAO model, and involves an updated policy, full safety promotion, safety assurance and risk management.All aspects of the SMS were carefully reviewed and created to ensure that full functionality was achieved. Training courses were written and are now being delivered. A newsletter was created and is now being published quarterly. We purchased a Cloud-based Risk Management System to ensure that this aspect of our SMS is given the right amount of attention needed and that it provides us with results.The end state is an SMS that is helping us to be safer and also more proactive towards our improving our business.
