I am working as coach/support for StruSoft AB. StruSoft is gaining traction in Finland and I am happy to be part of the team. I'm currenty situated in Oulu. I feel like I am working with the most talented people right now, and constantly learning more and more about our softwares and sales business. Also now I have chance to use Swedish on daily basis, which is refreshing and fun challenge.I have master’s degree in Civil Engineering from University of Oulu. There I specialized in structural analysis, FEM analysis, concrete and steel design, and BIM modelling. I did my thesis about part of concrete frame stability analysis.Previously I worked as structural design engineer in concrete design unit at Insinööritoimisto Mäkeläinen Oy. There our projects required working as a team providing vital information to other designers. Most of my projects were residential concrete buildings up to 16 storeys high. I am grateful that I could work with many unique projects, which many other offices couldn't provide. I worked as structural designer mainly with stability analysis of frames and reinforcement design for beams, columns and slabs. For the last year in that position I gained knowledge in BIM- and project coordinating. In the future I would like to learn more about FEM structural analysis, especially with CLT/Timber designing, since it is becoming more common building material nowadays. I want to help our customers to be most efficient with all of our great products.
