I manage switch at layers 2 through 4; routing via EIGRP, BGP, and static; QOS; Layer 2 - 4 access control lists, MACL and RACL, to include reflective and CBAC lists. Responsible for configuring and maintaining the network infrastructure to support routing, static, EIGRP, and BGP; switching; quality of service (QOS); voice over IP (VoIP); and layer 2 through 4 firewalls in a converged service network environment that utilizes 10/100/1000 and 10Gb Ethernet, Metro-E, OC-3, DS-3, and T-1 carrier signaling in the LAN/WAN environment. Supporting Multiprotocol Label Switching (Multi-protocol), Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF), IPSEC, Point-to-Point Protocol, High-Level Data Link Control (HDLC), and Synchronous Transport Signal 3 (STS-3c aka SONET) communication standards to ensure a resilient stable fault tolerant network, identifying and compensating for issue such as over subscription on trunks and serialization delays when transitioning between LAN and WAN technologies.

Provided Tier I and Tier II support in response to Agency electronic Help Desk system. Design Web based tools in HTML and JAVA, using Dreamweaver, Front Page, and text editors. Troubleshoot and correct errors in configuration files, modifying corrupt data files, as well as virus detection and removal. Monitor segments of the LAN for security vulnerabilities and intrusions. Prepare and conduct Information Security Awareness and "brown bag" training on various Agency Policies and mainstream applications to aid Agency employees with the use of new / updated software introduced to the work environment by the Agency.
