Production Manager – Managed the enhancement of the ERP system for a line of balance (LOB) delivery for this aerospace manufacturing company, which enabled improved efficiency and root cause analysis of downtime. A successful approach to coaching people, building teams and leveraging the use of data, resulted in six additional departments put under my responsibility: Lean, 5-S Resource and Project 09/2017; Production Control Staff (4) 12/2017; Warehouse Employees (4) 01/2018; Machine Maintenance Staff (4) 05/2018; Shipping and Receiving (4) 06/2018 and Facilities (3) 07/2018. Took over the daily production meeting and transformed the staff from a “defensive/reactive” posture to a proactive approach with clear focus on improving delivery, yield, utilization and efficiency. Teamwork increased dramatically. Deployed eight handheld scanners to shop floor, providing training, oversight and retraining until new system was fully utilized. Implemented best practice inventory practices. Led the preparation and successful management of a bank audit to 100% success.
