CurrentArtrya (ASX: AYA) is a MedTech company that has developed an Artificial Intelligence solution to detect coronary artery disease (CAD) biomarkers by analysing coronary CT scans. Its flagship product Salix is a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) tool to assist radiologists and cardiologists. My role encompasses all aspects of finance, corporate and legal matters including statutory financial reporting and audit engagement, tax compliance, forecasting and budget control, supplier contracts, financial modelling, and instructing legal and corporate advisers in Australia, the US, and the UK. I attend monthly Board meetings and liaise with the Company Secretary, share registry, ASX, and auditors.I was closely involved in preparing for Artrya’s successful IPO listing on the Australian Securities Exchange, and have since established subsidiaries in the US and UK including inter-company agreements, banking and payment arrangements, payroll, and state and federal tax compliance. I have also been directly involved in designing SaaS-based pricing models and software license and data-sharing agreements as part of market entry and commercialisation activities in our target jurisdictions.As an integral member of the executive leadership team, I actively contribute to business strategy and overall management of the company and help to navigate the challenging transition from startup to commercialisation within a highly regulated environment.
