Active Directory - Setting up new user accounts. Setting up new groups for permission within the Windows base file structure.Microsoft Exchange - Create new user mailboxes, distribution groups and manage delegation within exchange console.On Call / Travel - Responsible for being on call throughout the weekday rotating within the group. Travel to other company buildings and to Ottawa every 3rd month for on-site support.Training - Responsible for training new co-op students for computer rollouts, backups, reimages and any other helpdesk duties.Cisco VPN - Configure client side VPN, troubleshoot any issues that a user may have when trying to connect remotely.RSA - Setting up RSA tokens for users on mobile devices or hard tokens and troubleshoot issues when connecting to VPN using RSA.Phones - Responsible for both land line phones and cell phones. Ordering new cell phones and maintaining company cell phones, setting up cell phones for employees, working with Rogers technical support on issues. Configure land line phones in the Nortel Phone System, work with Bell to have new drops installed. Maintain Network Closets - Installing new switches in closet and running all new patch cables. Keep closet wiring clean and channeled properly. Make new LAN cables using RJ-45's and crimping tool.Inventory - Maintain IT assets and inventory using BMC Asset ManagementHardware - Responsible for maintaining all hardware, approximately 1200 desktops and 200 laptops/tablets. Replace power supplies, motherboards, RAM, video cards, NIC cards and Hard Drives. Back up, restore and reimage hardware using WinPE and Symantec Ghost 11.5.

Machine operator – responsible for starting jobs, making sure material was ready, taking parts off the machine and organizing onto different carts. Organizing AutoCAD prints for each part and making sure parts measured to size after they have been bent.

Houseman – carried luggage, helped guests to their rooms and provided room service. Cleaned laundry rooms for guests, cleaned the swimming pool area and vacuum conference rooms.
