Responsible for efficient, welcoming, accountable and productive entity returning the studio to profit. Accountable for the financial health, operations and resourcing of the studio building a new team and thriving culture. Provide direction to Board on the current and future status, trends and opportunities for VIC, WA, SA and TAS. Ensure clients are receiving the best service across our multiple sectors. Provide all HR needs for running the office (we fluctuate between 15-30 people) & share resourcing with our other offices depending on project requirements including hiring, exits, staff development & training, performance reviews & salaries,• Role includes leadership, direction and mentoring to Victoria team on complex projects at all work stages and various procurement methods and types of Contracts, • Projects (values from $0.5m - $150m) cover multiple sectors: with both new and refurbishment of retail, commercial & banking, residential, aged-care, mixed-use, health/medical centres, education/child-care, hospitality, community projects sports & recreation and landscaping. • Updating policy and reform to aid improvement to all areas of the business including research & development, technology and QA process and procedures,• Leader of People & Culture Pillar across all TA’s Australian offices, and formerly Jakarta and Hong Kong, and involves collaboration, consultation, surveying, planning and delivery of many important HR related and cultural initiatives. Most recently implemented entire new performance review system. This included creation, roll-out and training of senior staff and conducting reviews, gathering feedback and making recommendations for further development in the future.

Victoria & Queensland

Associate Director & Regional Team Leader in Melbourne and Brisbane covering VIC, QLD and PNG, requiring close consultation and collaboration with clients and community representatives on multiple projects across Australasia.

Responsibilities: • Responsible for leading complex projects and job teams on all work stages,• Projects included residential, mixed-use, landscaping, community, retail, hospitality & commercial including;• Robina Myer & Retail Centre ($60m); Robina Cinemas and Bowling centre ($25m); Masterplan and design development for Indooroopilly Shopping Town ($450m); Keperra Retail Centre ($40m); Home Central, Kawana ($50m); Tweed City shopping centre ($45m); Wynnum Plaza ($10m); Mercedes/Ford/Mitsubishi car showrooms.

Sydney

Responsibilities: • Employed to create and lead a new Project Management division for industry leading furniture and interiors fit-out company in Sydney/NSW region,• Management and coordination of all staff and new projects, subcontractors, budgets, programming & implementation to site handover and defects periods,• Clients included: AMP, Telstra, Price Waterhouse, Bovis Lend Lease, Nestle, Goodman Fielder and Mercedes Benz throughout Australia. Multiple Budgets: up to $20million.

Dubai United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities: • Senior Project architect/team leader for projects on all work stages including:• Al Ghurair Retail City, (Budget: $600million); My role was as one of three Team Leaders charged with delivering the design development and documentation of an existing complex and the addition of six new buildings into one cohesive retail, leisure and residential community,• Al Rostamani Tower, (Budget: $110million); Coordination and feasibility for a 52-storey development with retail podium, commercial and residential tower – appraisal, design brief, concept, design development,• Mixed-use/leisure, India, (Budget: $30million); Brief, concept preparation and design for 6 level retail, food court, offices and seven 250-seat cinemas.

Dubai United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities: • Senior Project architect/team leader for projects on all work stages up to values of $300m,• Projects included hotels, resorts, sports and leisure facilities, residential, mixed-use, industrial, major landscaping commissions and place making with close consultation with the local community, retail and commercial,• Valuable experience gained in a fast-paced environment in a unique city during a time of rapid and complex development,• Diverse experience within an environment of many cultures and demanding requirements by multiple stakeholders and community organisations.
