With a network of 28 national workshops and the pleasure of looking after the south of England from Leicester down to Exeter. Required to look at Health & Safety requirements of a busy and dangerous working environment through staff training and ISO9002 standards.Played a key role in the implementation of a new nation wide computer system for the entire AA fleet of patrol vehicles and trucks from initial design, beta testing, hardware roll out, staff training and day to day maintenance.Took the business in a new direction by assisting in diversifying the workshop model, our small team sold our services to local businesses and national organisatons making over £2m in the first year. One of these organisations was the Metropolitan Police, we won the contract to service their fleet of vehicles from marked patrol cars, covert vehicles, armed units and even horse boxes. This required absolute discretion and security vetting from MI5 and Special Branch. This time and data critical contract required a great deal of focus and detail management for a very complicated fleet.Revolutionised the parts system in removing all held stock and bringing in an outside supplier to run our stores supplies and staff, this saved over £100k in the first year alone.
