Gainfully employed full-time as a father of two, honing essential skills like client and stakeholder management, dealing with bosses and the art of oral advocacy and persuasion. Finds these skills strangely helpful in my off days, where I spend time in an office trying to be a litigator. My practice areas include Criminal Defence Litigation, Civil and Corporate Litigation and Corporate Law. I believe in giving legal advice that is effective and efficient, helping my clients achieve their objectives (be it personal or commercial) without unnecessary costs and delays. Furthermore, many accused persons and litigants often feel like they lose control over their lives because of ongoing legal proceedings. I believe that effective legal representation includes helping my clients regain control over proceedings as much as possible. In the area of Criminal Defence Litigation, I spent three years as a prosecutor in the Attorney-General's Chambers, prosecuting a wide area of offences in both the High Court and State Courts. As a Defence Counsel, I am able to incorporate views from the Prosecution's perspective when advising clients and determining the best course of action to take. I've also had the privilege of being able to conduct trials as the lead counsel. In the area of Civil and Commercial Litigation, I have advised and acted for SMEs in various industries. I believe in resolving disputes amicably through negotiations and mediation, only resolving it through litigation if necessary. In the area of Commercial Law, I advise SMEs on various areas such as in employment law, reviewing contracts, and advising on corporate governance matters. Also has experience in drafting Shareholder Agreements and Sale and Purchase Agreements.Outside of the law, I'm deeply interested in the growing, sourcing, roasting and brewing of coffee. I've attended various barista courses, and am WSQ qualified barista.
