I am a senior Information Technology strategist who produces exceptional business and marketing plans and programs that consistently achieve extraordinary results: increased revenue, operating margins, customer satisfaction, and new business partnerships. Proven track record of building talented, motivated, and productive cross-functional teams.The reason for my IT product development and marketing success is that I was an end customer buying the products and services that I am now producing. I was an IT Director and an Information and Communications Systems Engineer for 17 years. From an end customer’s perspective, I understand what is needed to satisfy my organization’s business needs and how new products and services can achieve those business needs. I built in the product features and capabilities that IT departments need. I can very effectively convey end customer value propositions and benefits in our sales and marketing collateral.Two product development projects that I was directly involved with grew to $1B per year in revenue. I developed the business cases for these IT service product offering. This was crafted into a Marketing Requirements Document (MRD) and then into a Product Requirements Document (PRD). Multiple business units (P&L Centers) had to come together and agree to these plans and then roll it out across the geographical regions. Cross functional HQ staffs had to also work together to contribute their functional expertise to create and launch these new service products. I was very proud to be a team member and leader of this motivating and talented cross-functional HQ team.As an IT Product Marketing Manager I have seen technology and the maturity and discipline of IT organizations change.
