In addition to the writing and editing work I do for companies and individuals in various industries, I help authors polish their manuscripts. I provide developmental editing, copy editing, or proofreading, depending on what's needed for the project, and have a particular eye for genre fiction (especially science fiction/fantasy) for middle grade to adult. I love working with writers, and I love a good story.

I proofread programs created by Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts to promote musical performances by students and faculty. A season's worth of performances will feature genres from jazz to classical and opera. I ensure the programs conform to Rutgers house style as well as the Chicago Manual of Style, and I confirm that all names, dates, and titles are correct.

I write magazine features on New Jersey arts and entertainment and local businesses.

I help produce a monthly paper carrying all the Metuchen news that's fit to print. We cover everything from municipal meetings to the local arts scene and high school sports. I conduct interviews, write and edit articles, and coordinate coverage with reporters and photographers.

I interpret medical studies for Healthy Hearing, a website that provides information about hearing loss and treatment options for consumers so they can make the best decisions for themselves and their loved ones. I interview the researchers behind the newest studies to help explain the results and their implications to readers.
