Responsible for sourcing and buying all merchandise for historical house and gardens gift shop. Evaluated top selling merchandise; observed trends and customer interests; set price points. First admissions director hired to oversee recruitment and marketing for K-6 private school. Developed outreach events and systems for tracking prospective family engagement, including building multi-year Excel spreadsheet. Followed up all inquiries with personal calls and tours, built relationships with local preschools, streamlined enrollment, payment and financial aid processes. Secured outreach grants which included developing event budgets and scheduling collaborators. Supported development efforts. Designed and created all collateral materials, directed redesign of logo and website, managed the website CMS, distributed all print and online communications.Significant successes: Initiated pre-K arts program which later served as a model for PJ Library, a national Jewish outreach effort. Directed programmatic and financial aspects of all Craft Center youth programs for 2,000 youth annually, including the Teen Apprentice Program, school programs, camps, classes, and teacher professional development. Significant successes: Achieved semi-finalist status for a National Endowment for the Arts’ Coming Up Taller Award, given for excellence in teen art programs. Created an arts summer camp from the ground up.

Created a small business teaching preK-8th grade art classes at various locations throughout Western Massachusetts. Involved pitching proposals to and partnering with recreation departments, libraries and other facilities, marketing for and recruiting parent/child students to fill classes, and managing schedules and finances. Also included developing and maintaining a lesson plan database, purchasing and organizing supplies, and maintaining long term communications and relationships with family clients.
