After high school I knew I wanted to travel so I began my career in the travel industry working with Crimson travel in the 80s which then became Thomas Cook. Travel is my passion so I have remained in the industry since. You can plan all you want but life evolves! From the travel industry I helped friends in their Perio and General dental office as a receptionist, assistant and financial coordinator. Then recruited to help in an orthodontist office, I decided to make a change. I find myself in the insurance industry to continue what I’ve always loved and that’s helping others. Whether it be to organize and plan a clients travel arrangements, make patients feel comfortable prior to a dental treatment or to help protect ones financial picture when an unexpected accident or sickness happens. I love what I do because I talk to people daily to help educate them about how to help protect against financial loss. In this fast, constantly changing healthcare and insurance world, it’s not easy to keep up with what we really need “just incase” There are so many gaps in our healthcare coverage regardless of how good it is. We find out when we need it and then it is too late. It’s important to understand what medical coverage you have.
