Supporting the development of procurement strategies for particular assets that ensure Transpower’s technical and commercial needs will be met (including cost, quality, safety, environmental, project delivery, operability and maintainability) Managing tendering, evaluation, negotiations and contract establishment for equipment required for projects or programmes of work. Management of procurement contracts, ensuring cost, quality and delivery risks are adequately managed.Development of supplier relationships and the facilitation of interactions between internal stakeholders and suppliers when required.Support internal stakeholders to ensure the correct equipment is ordered in time and adequately managed until delivery.Support internal stakeholders with post contract/delivery queries (i.e. warranty issues, operational issues, and technical queries).

Management and Co-ordinating of Projects assigned by Project Manager, including but not limited to Project Stakeholder Management, Resource Management, Project Planning and Scheduling, and Project Progress Reporting with input from the Project Team and Project Manager. Also includes, but not limited to, ensuring that all involved in the project adhere to relevant applicable Environmental, Health & Safety, Construction, and Other applicable Legislation.Projects include, but are not limited to, the execution of the Refurbishment of existing Electrical Substations and the execution of the Commissioning of Newly Constructed Electrical Substations.
