Partnering with the Line of Business leadership team, across a $1.2B business, overseeing the SHEQ performance in NSW/ACT region, providing operational support through a team of SHEQ professionals. • Lead SHEQ due diligence and implementation activities for the acquisition & integration of new Sector business • Implementing the Group and Sector SHEQ strategy at the Line of Business and contract level• Lead the establishment, monitoring and achievement of measurable Sector SHEQ objectives & targets and the establishment and execution of the Sector SHEQ Strategy and Plan• Measure SHEQ performance and report regularly directly to stakeholders, including the client, Executive Leadership Team • Implement and manage SHEQ management systems across the sector, including BMS, VisRes, Solv and other applications - SHEQ mobilisation / transition of projects and safety critical roles• First point of contact liaising and communicating with government HSE Departments and regulatory authorities such as Environmental Protection Authority, Comcare and Safe Work.• Actively provide training and coaching to operational leadership team and project staff on key legislative and organization updates as required• Injury management and RTW effectiveness• Ensure project readiness for external audits and deliver internal audits and action tracking to ensure compliance with Ventia requirements, and certifications/accreditations are maintained• Lead and manage ICAM and Serious incident processes and drive learnings into the Sector and wider business• Perform Contractor SHEQ evaluations and maintain current contractor records• Coordinate and Lead, SHEQ professional and employee onboarding and inductions • Preparing and delivering SHEQ Programs and communications• Maintaining client specific requirements and systems, assessing client systems against Ventia requirements and seeking exemptions and internal approvals where needed.
