This has included: • developing and delivering a bid improvement program that resulted in a win rate increase of almost 75%, increased stakeholder satisfaction and improved team morale• reviewing and improving a legal firm's Australian bids and tenders function and activities to achieve a 70% increase in the win rate at the same time bid volumes increased more than 30%• working with legal firm leadership to develop and deliver priority account programs, manage and grow key accounts (national and global accounts) and drive strategic bids and pursuits• providing strategic analysis and input into the development of firms' business strategies and management of the clients/markets programs and projects arising from these• leading BD for an expansion into a new (emerging economy) country and in key sectors including infrastructure and government• developing the pursuit and tender strategies for work opportunities arising from market developments and on key accounts, including managing national and global panel pursuits and tenders, and• developing integrated sales, marketing, and thought leadership campaigns that drive revenue growth and positioning opportunities.Prior to my move into professional services, I had worked in roles in the financial services and government sectors.
