Directed and developed the Finance team, consisting of seven people in London (4 accountants, Credit Controller, Accounts Payable representative and Tax Manager)As the focal point of contact for Trayport's management team, I conducted all aspects of Finance globally (spanning the UK, US, Austria and Singapore) and encompassing management reporting (both historcial and forward looking), external statutory reporting, cash management (including cashflow forecasting as well as management of credit control/accounts receivable and accounts payable), financial risk management, taxation, process improvement and automation.Key deliverables included ensuring a smooth and efficient month end close, delivery of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts as well as other management information as required by stakeholders across the business.

Singapore

Based in Singapore, my role as Financial Operations Manager involved establishing the Financial Operations team for the Asia Pacific region, including the recruitment, development and leadership of a group of dedicated individuals providing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable services to the business. Additionally, I was also instrumental in the planning and implementation of Oracle ERP modules (Accounts Payable, Receivable and iExpenses) in a number of remote locations across the region, working with the technical development teams to ensure that functional requirements were delivered. Since the GFI Group is a US listed business, I developed and manintained SOX 404 procedure documentation as well as facilitating quarterly internal audit reviews. During my time in Singapore, enhanced business reporting to senior management was delivered which included desk level analysis with broker productivity, travel & entertaining spend analysis as well as Accounts Receivable and cashflow reporting.

Greater New York City Area

Delivered monthly management accounts for both front and back office operations in the North American region. Leading a small but effective team of accountants, deadlines were achieved on a consistent basis and signficant improvements were made in the working relationship between the front office broking management and the Finance function. Other key responsibilities included the preparation, review and analysis of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets in addition to the development of business plans for new product areas including sensitivity analysis and other analytical summaries. During my tenure I was also conducted the user acceptance testing of an upgrade of the Oracle ERP system
