Manager - Honda Sales Operations
CurrentResponsible to manage Honda Sales Operational activities ensuring attainment of sales objectives, dealership communications, and upholding Honda Brand initiatives through effective planning, coordination, and management of key support departments – Zone Field Staff, Advertising, Production Planning, and Finance. Work directly with the Zone Managers to achieve sales targets for both New and Certified vehicles.Providing strategic direction to direct reports in sales operations and in the field (zone staff) as to how to execute brand directives given by the AVP in the Honda business plan.Work with incentive team on program development to ensure by model sales pace remains on plan.Train and develop each departmental associate as needed.Work with production planning team on monthly production adjustments by trim to ensure appropriate distribution and achievement of sales plan by region and nationally.Create and manage structure of annual sales business plan. Prepare quarterly business plan updates for executive review.Manage budget results/forecast for Auto Sales Division for quarterly presentations with executive management.Cross training of rotational managers, ensuring the department consistency during turnover periods.Oversee development of all reporting and ad hoc analysis and special project support as situations arise on a regular basis
