- Supervise felons and misdemeanants through counseling and referrals to community resources on social adjustment problems.-Enforces conditions of supervision and performs all aspects of the violation process under close supervision.-Conducts criminal justice social background investigations of offenders and makes recommendations for the various decision makers in the criminal justice system (e. g., courts, parole board, pardon board, the Office of the Governor, etc.).-Conducts arrests, transports violators, prepares reports to courts and parole board, and attends and participates in probable cause and revocation hearings.-Investigates and determines amounts of victims' restitution, sets payment schedules, and collects and disburses victims' restitution, supervision fees, fines, court costs, and other criminal justice monies.-Places offenders in appropriate drug treatment, vocational rehabilitation, or mental health programs; assists them in obtaining emergency financial aid and support and provides crisis intervention services.-Conduct all activities in compliance with the American Correctional Association (ACA) standards which set specific time constraints, requirements, and regimen for all major activities.-Administer drug tests by obtaining urine samples and evaluating results.-Assist in conducting jail operation audits on facilities housing DPSC inmates.-Make decisions regarding the application of the Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) defensive tactics system to include impact weapons.-Supervises and directs discretionary community service work performed by parolees.-Perform contract compliance audits for Community Rehabilitation Centers (CRC).-Conduct disciplinary hearings for adult inmates in CRCs.

-Responsible for the supervision, scheduling, training, and evaluations of up to 150 seasonal and permanent aquatic staffers.-Implement aquatic programming including but not limited to instructional courses,swim meets, tournaments, swim lessons and other aquatic programs.-Assisting in hiring and training qualified aquatic staff including Water SafetyInstructors, Senior Lifeguards & Lifeguards and other aquatic and support staff.-Surveying patrons and evaluating programs to determine public needs and howto increase program efficiency and effectiveness; receive patron complaints andsuggestions and respond appropriately; and perform related duties as required.-Performing daily safety inspections of 17 pools and their equipment to reducehazards, mitigate any issues found and to maximize safety for both patrons andstaff.-Conducting training of staff in water safety, lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR;ensuring that all certifications of staff are maintained. Ensure high programstandards are adhered to; provide regular in-service training to staff as needed.

-Assisting in hiring, training, scheduling and appraising lifeguards. Ensuring thatlife-saving certification is current and that all lifeguards are fully competent inperforming water rescue procedures.-Assist in the scheduling of lifeguards to ensure that adequate and continuouscoverage of pool areas are maintained during operating hours of any aquaticfacility.-Orienting and conducting training with new lifeguards in regards to job duties andresponsibilities.-Supervising lifeguards daily while on duty and ensuring adherence to safetyregulations and policies, as well as expected roles and responsibilities during allshifts.-Taking inventory of pool related supplies/needs and submitting required ordersand documentation for consideration.

-Responsible for the oversight of the day to day operations of the facility including the supervision of 60 recreational staff members including assistant managers and park crew.-Opening and closing of the park and the daily setup & breakdown of POS tillsalong with counting them down for daily deposits.-Implemented rewards programming to ensure customer courtesy andsatisfaction, along with the evaluation of said programming to determine changes necessary to maximize its efficiency.-Responsible for weekly scheduling of various work stations and shifts forrecreational staff.-Performing regular safety inspections of all park equipment to minimize hazardsand to maximize the safety of patrons.
