With the intention of ultimately pursuing a graduate program in dramaturgy, I double majored in theater and history at Georgia College & State University. Though I completed a majority of my studies there, I was forced to postpone my education due to financial concerns. Shortly after, I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, emerging from training for photojournalism as an honor graduate and second in my class. As an airman 1st class, I was principally involved with public affairs, especially in regards to community relations and internal coverage.Though life has not turned out quite as I had expected, I have endeavored to make good use of every opportunity made available to me. Most recently, I have gained several years of experience in a manufacturing setting, and obtained certification in the field of quality improvement.I now have my sights set on the future, and aim to establish myself with the long-term goal of completing a degree in public relations or a related field whilst gaining firsthand experience through employment and volunteering.
